Amersham Training Band

The Training Band was established in September 1997, with the aid of a Lottery Grant from The Arts Council of England. The band has now grown to 17 members and has its own uniform made for them by our former Librarian Helen Smith.

Mary Wells is the training band's Musical Director. Mary teaches at a local school and plays solo horn at Ellesborough Silver Band.

The Training Band rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm - 8.30pm at The Methodist Church Hall, The Hill, Winchmore Hill near Amersham. New Players are always welcome, instruments can be provided.
